What was the highlight of Al Hamra Hotel
Very Good
The breakfast was good. There were minimal main course options for foreigners, like eggs, a type of sausage, some type of sandwich, some type of roll which were good but cucumber, carrot, tomato, were always available for a light choice. The fruits were always plentiful and there were pinapple, green and red apples, orange, watermelon and melon available. The restaurant service was very price efficient and tasteful. I recommend the steak as a fulfilling meal. AC was good and rooms were clean.
My phone in the room was not working since it could not be plugged in. The one in the WC worked and I used that. The wifi also tends to cut off sometimes for a minute before coming back. I don't know the cause of this. The location is not ideal for me since it doesnt have any malls or known fast food restaurants nearby.

Decent place (second visit)
Nicely located, walking distance to the Corniche, surrounded by lots of local restaurants. Simple place, nothing luxurious but very decent
There was a humidity smell in the room (the tech team opened the window at my request. We could not get rid of the humidity smell in the bathroom though.

I like the location and the room was good and clean. The price was also good it's advailable to book the room through booking it was cheaper than direct rates.
The toilet was very small but was clean.
